Capturing Aerosol Evolution at Cape Cod

Published: 26 July 2012

From July 2012 to June 2013, nearly sixty instruments are obtaining atmospheric data from the ARM Mobile Facility site at Cape Cod National Seashore in Massachusetts.
Starting this month and lasting through June 2013, the ARM Climate Research Facility is obtaining data from a coastal bluff at Cape Cod National Seashore for the Two-Column Aerosol Project, or TCAP. Using the heavily instrumented ARM Mobile Facility and ARM Aerial Facility, researchers are gathering measurements of clouds and aerosols as they drift from North America over the Atlantic ocean. For more information, see the post on the Department of Energy’s blog.
